They're saying press who want to leave the kettle have to go a distance away. This conveniently means no one will have close up footage of whatever they do to the protestors.

The Status Coup news folks are leaving the kettle. A cop just said "Get the fuck out of here!" They're getting hustled back like a block away from the kettle with the protestors. www.youtube.com/live/dhCEpox...

They're already what looks like half a block away.

"We're over 100 feet away and they're still unhappy that we're recording."

Reporter says the cops have been targeting journalists, smashing cameras. Says his camera got shot (with a pepper ball) yesterday. Reminds me of all the times cops have shot photojournalists in the EYE over the last few years.
