Post

MANY people came to my table at the NYCC and thanked me for making noise and organizing around political issues. I thanked them back and said I'm just constitutionally incapable of keeping my mouth shut, which is true! But the real sauce: I'm part of multiple communities that make me braver.

You don't have to be a solo hero when you're surrounded by comrades who give a damn and do the right thing. You're just part of your community, and that's glorious and liberating. If you're scared to say what you think you should? Poke around and find your organizing home. Find your TRUE community.

Just for inspiration, here are a bunch of the groups I organize with and support. All doing amazing things every damn day. All giving me energy and courage every damn day. go.bsky.app/C2Np9n6

Join up. Find your organizing home. Get yourself some comrades who have your back, and have theirs. Everything starts getting better right about then. And then we change the world. ❤️💪
