We adopted a dog on Thursday. Lola. Her owner, our daughter’s best friend, died in his sleep. Sunday we had family over for our Christmas celebration. Somehow Lola got out and was hit by a car. We’re now at a 24-hour surgery center waiting to hear if the badly fractured bones are repairable.😢
