@kyledavis.bsky.social, I’d love YOUR take especially. My baseline assumption is that Christie (probable next FERC Chair) is less likely to move on this expeditiously than the current Chair. Moreover, not at all clear to me that interregional tx is on the radar of Republican leadership. Thoughts?

#EnergySky 🔌💡 I didn't see much reaction to NERC's recent report on minimum transfer capacity between Transmission Planning Regions. Anyone have a good take? Seems like something we can push in a new Trump Administration. www.nerc.com/news/Pages/T...

@gridguy.bsky.social agreed of the Christie point. And even if he wanted to move fast, seems HIGHLY unlikely that a new interregional order wouldn’t encounter even stiffer legal resistance than what No. 1920 is currently facing. Esp post-Chevron. Hence the criticality of those provisions in EPRA…

We’re still seeing a (very narrow!) path for EPRA though! These grid reliability arguments + the durability of codifying regulatory reform (as opposed to presumed Trump EOs) is resonating on the Hill
