These are idiots! The Climate Crisis is already routinely flooding parts of Miami and will bring more frequent and more destructive hurricanes and storms. Why would anyone want to be frequently homeless??

Who cares? I have compassion for Floridians who grew up there and don’t want or can’t because they’re too poor. But I have zero sympathy for retirees or others who move there now, willingly burying their heads in the sand. Same with AZ, the Gulf Coast and wildland urban interfaces in the west.

They need to stock up on Brawndo!

Florida might end up as one giant sinkhole.

Fortunately for them, climate change is illegal in FL, so it won't be a problem. (Here in CA we've been having a lot of groundwater problems, and as Twain allegedly said about the area "Whiskey's for drinkin', and water's for fightin' about", but at least ours isn't all going to turn salty.)

There will be plenty of seawater. The ocean levels are rising rapidly
