Great team slightly old

If you were the first team the fixture list must have been a bit rubbish.

Don’t they look thrilled? No ‘say cheese’ in those days.

Smiling is a relatively new thing for photos- 1920s-ish. They had to sit for quite a long time for photos in those days, hence the blurry lady on the left. There'll be a Reddit post about it somewhere

Thanks for the info. Makes sense. And I suppose it was a serious matter back then. Wonder what they’d make of selfies/insta etc 😄

I like the blurred figures to the sides, and the Queen Victoria lookalike at the back.
