Canada needs, and is, making better defence partnerships. I don't know what happened to America, but they are not like us anymore. The best thing Canada ever did was walk away from the USA. We deserve so much better, and we're finding it.

I gotta agree, and it's become a little worse than I thought. It's like my peers here (the US) have developed a kind of insanity, coupled with amnesia. (Okay, cognitive dissonance) They still think we are the best country around, even as we are collapsing in chaos.

It's what they've always strived for. Even the Saturday morning cartoons were used as a brainwashing tool. The need to control the world, the protagonists were always stronger and better than anyone else, violence was seen as funny. They've reaped what they sowed.

The Empire Files worded it quite well - full-spectrum dominance. I think it is not fully achievable and even a part of it is not sustainable. However, the violence and pain is inflicted on many. And, yes, the propaganda has been pretty thorough. I wish it were not so.
