I appreciate everything you guys do but I’m so thoroughly disappointed with antiquary as a concept. Many other classes get things that have long been asked for and thieves get the game’s first meme spec. I’m sure some folks will love it, but I personally couldn’t be more disappointed.

It all looks interesting and i look forward to testing. But i'm also disappointed that warrior gets yet another round of ignoring condi damage in any way. Yeah, yeah, Paragon is a support... but at the same time: meh.

The problem here is that Warrior should be a front-line character, not a supporting character. I feel Paragon should be something like Angel fire, beams of holy light that devastate, a charriot of fire that chargest through your enemies. etc.

But that was never what Paragon was. I like Paragon, as a concept, as he was in GW1. The stream showed that he will go in that direction, which i like. I'm just not a fan of ignoring condi for the third time (technically fifth considering staff and spear).

I love a lot of things about the antiquary. I do wish however that, like I mentioned in another post, if they were going for Indiana jones type character that what the skritt did was dig and bring up items some of which were of an ancient mystical nature while others just trash based items.

initial trailer had me hating antiquary, but seems that the marketing for it was as bad as transformers one. spec looks super fun. looking forward to throwing skritt at people on my thieves

Cool concepts! Loving that expanding on core classes in fun and unique ways. Antiquary honestly looked fun and glad that trying stuff that is thematically different!
