My main character, who is not my oldest but my dearest and most played! She went through quite a few color shifts as she grew up. (2014 - 2026)

This is my oldest character. She celebrates 14 year today, 22 August. Unfortunately, I dont have an old image of her because in the beginning I was lousy at taking screenshots. But at least I've gotten better at it after all these years 😘

My first (& main) toon, a thief class Norn on 2012-2013. I wanted to go for all purple at first but didn't have the right dye, finally had the right colours (& a new hair & facial style makeover!) a whole decade later. I'm really satisfied with how he looks now! #GW2

This is Luula, technically not my oldest character but, back in the days, I had the habit of lving a toon to 80 and delete it and start over. So she was created in 2013 and played until 2017, at which point I left the game. I returned last year, with a brand new character ♥

Since the oldest screenshot has #Trahearne , I went to see him just to take a screenshot ! Sapling Mikhail was changing pieces of armor as it dropped, regardless of whether it was fashionable or not xD

Igriz Brassvein, my main character from the very start. Screenshot from 2012 and somewhat recent-ish in the same spot. He didn't change much over that 14 years but have been through much. I'm not active player anymore, but I'm still have a very special place for my Charr Engineer ✨

Jane, my first GW2 character in the earliest and most recent screenshots I have of her. She (and her sibling, Rafe) is the descendent of my and my friend @princess-oldguy.bsky.social's GW1 characters.

Changed her hair, got a tan, and has a few more tales to tell, but otherwise not too different.

This is as much a time capsule into my character in 2012 as it is one for my old PC that could barely run Guild Wars 2...

I'm still playing my first ever character all the time - Brimjam McNumbles MSc, Bsc, PHD, QTpi. Genius, inventor of stuff, blower up of things, voted three years running "Most Likely to be Responsible for Whatever Exploded This Time."

My FIRST first character has been lost, but my first true main, Ibex, lives on. Had a bit of a Kralkatorrik phase and lost her leg in Cantha, but otherwise doing pretty well. Also, it's hilarious to me that so far all of the responses I see are Charr :P

January 07, 2014 vs August 21, 2026 I also found this screenshot of my character list & achievements. As you can tell my oldest character has gone throught a lot changes, got ton of achievements, and pick up a lot of Allies(alts) on the way.

A lot can change in just barely four years, it turns out.

Ah, yes. Oldest character from the betas that I brought into release appears to be Blueorb, my norn guardian (and main for the first year of the game). On April 29, 2012 - and today. She, uh, looks a little different 😅
