I mainly use Go and Rust, for backend or application development, but dabble in other languages when it's more convenient (currently doing a lot of prototyping in Python for a new project). For this year, my main intention is also to attempt to pick up Kotlin for Android development.

Based, Python is a good language for toying around with and testing out ideas, I agree, I wish you luck on Android Development, may Android Studio not brick your computer 🙏

I did a couple of mobile programming classes at university, but neither I was happy with the used stack (Java + XML), nor was my laptop happy with Android Studio's RAM usage, which left me with a pretty bad taste in my mouth. Luckily, I got more RAM and will try using Jetpack Compose next time 🙏

Rust, previously C Kotlin, my main, primarily for Kotlin Multiplatform projects sometimes Python when I want to do a little silly script, but if it takes up too much RAM, I rewrite it as a C or Rust program
