Die Antwoord - Just didn't feel like it. In hindsight, probably for the best? Orville Peck - Got free tickets the night before, hadn't heard of him yet, and again, just wasn't feeling it. Out of curiosity the next morning I queued up his music and immediately facepalmed. Mitch Hedberg - He died :(

How about this? Best concerts that you ALMOST got to see but DIDN’T. Include reasons if you like: Rolling Stones (play rehearsal) Johnny Cash (I dallied) R.E.M. (play performance) Nirvana (canceled, college declined to pay requested $500 appearance fee)

Oh, and most recently: Giorgio Moroder - Committed to visiting in-laws before the show was announced. Near miss: John Williams - Had tickets to see him conduct the Cleveland Orchestra, then covid happened. Thankfully the show was rescheduled 2 yrs later & I'd held onto the tickets.
