damn. read his stuff for years. He started a newsletter a while back (2yrs?). I unsubbed and he emailed to follow up on my reason. We went back/forth a bit. i def had an i’m not worthy feeling.

The last time I saw him in person was a year ago at WWDC, when he went out of his way to say nice things about my work. He was an extremely generous soul.
