Rocky the Robin. Juvenile Robins don't have the red breasts of an adult which makes them less visible to predators and also stops them being attacked by other Robins - which are very aggressive and will attack other adults. #BirdOfTheDay #Juveniles #Birds #Nature #ECK

Thank you. I guess all birds will stick up for themselves but Robins have a reputation for being pretty brutal with one another. It's not unheard of for Robins to kill rivals.

Interesting! I have two species at my place, but they're quite timid and keep to themselves, only visiting the bird baths when other birds are gone. But in saying that, I haven't seen the males interacting with each other, as there aren't many of them. I'll keep out a closer watch and see. 👍
