I will say, I do like when games force quit or intentionally crash as soon as the credits end. It's a good bit. It feels good. Works for the medium.

Genuinely my most memorable moment in MIDSOMMAR for me is the interplay of the final image and "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" crooning over the credits. Just a peak moment.

It's like when a vinyl record is recorded with the locked groove in mind and you have to physically take the needle off the disc. I remember the remake of Twin Fantasy did this and it was such a good way to end it

When I get to the ending of Secret of Mana, I let the ending scene just play on loop because the music is so beautiful

Its funny cause capcom does this a lot on the snes even though the console is perfectly able to just go back to the title screen
