Or maybe Mamdani knows a local city council response is not enforceable on companies located outside the city? You know, as in following the chain of responsibility between local, state, and federal? But that is what you voted for federally isn't it? Lip service

So, no city ordinance from Mamdani on datacenters, ok got it. Just so you know, I asked AI and because NYC is a major financial hub there are between 54 and 74 data center facilities located within New York City proper. And well, I'm sure he doesn't want that to change...

Apparently, you don't know AI and it's regulation are not the same thing as data centers. The article is talking about the fears of AI going off script and causing damage by doing unwanted things without being asked.
