yeah it's super fucked lol. broken on desktop too. and as far as i can tell you just can't enter japanese alt text now because japanese input works differently (if you don't know, you kinda write phonetically and you basically get options to correct homophones — the browser events work differently)

It’s been a long time since I’ve done native iOS development myself but in my recollection I do think you would have to go out of your way to make it that bad
