cpu passed me a sketch of her process a few days ago. its very image-first, text after. all the elements had harmony. a work that resonates across multiple disciplines. its very different from what i do today. what i took away from that is that there are many ways to explore a feeling

writing is my talent - it is the medium through which other adjacent disciplines are tied together. the other aspects are not talents, but skills. they are sometimes hard going. so, i split the work into different areas where the team can do the things i'm not as native in. bigger, but fragmented

i really admire people who can do everything themselves. im not nearly as disciplined or have spent my time in the right ways to acquire the right skills for what i want to output. its hard work at the end of the day that makes the difference.

there are things i can do entirely by myself but they are not in the scope of games. i spent my life hunched over the keyboard. and im older now. and there is this sense that time is running out
