How are you balancing the current FOSS AI discourse? I noticed (and enjoyed) your the AI contributions section in your CONTRIB dot md. I'm literally too scared to open up a certain project of mine's repository lol

Open up the repo but close PR & issues could be a good start

Not just thinking of the "drive-by PR slop" issue, but also people's aggressive reactions towards repositories that are AI friendly.

I don't think there is a problem with using AI when you code, it's how you use it. I think most people, including me, are against the slop and vibe-coding but I am all for using AI while coding and staying the loop

My personal observation is that anything that even just has an AGENTS dot md file is quickly and often very loudly, if not aggressively, dismissed as slop, no matter how the maintainer is actually using AI (see the recent open-slopware fiasco as a very prominent example of this).
