I think everyone would benefit from forcing themself to fully engage with media Don’t pull out your phone when you’re watching a tv show or movie. Give it your full attention. You cannot multi task as well as you think

I struggle to watch TV shows alone because I’d rather spend my alone time playing games or creating If I’m watching something with someone else though I fully engage. It feels less like a “sub optimal” use of time because I’m spending it with someone. It means I watch less TV but I don’t see -

I’m talking about this because I just saw FFVII adding a fast forward button and I can only imagine there’s people that get bored of cutscenes and pull out their phone midway through 😭 brother those games are beautiful enjoy your cinematic video game

I absolutely adore the cutscenes in FF games, XIV is full of them so I get shocked when people cutscene skip/skip story. It's so beautiful and VIBRANT. Even the side quests are charming and given a chance to shine.
