Can I mount rocket launchers and machine guns on my car? Sometimes the horn doesn't seem like enough.

The best comparison I can think up is this- imagine the government passed a law that ordered all public schools to remove their sprinkler systems because water makes fires worse. You don't think people would be pissed and try anything to stop it?

The other issue is how hostile driving makes a city feel. Walking around a city, having a meal or coffee outside, is simply not enjoyable when it's next to s 4-lane highway if speeding and loud cars. Cities are for living in, not driving through.

Cycled over 20000 km in the last 5 years in London. 20 mph speed limit and bike lanes everywhere encourage people to get on their bikes. Before that was knocked off twice. Hospitalised but not fatal. It keeps you fit, gets you to the office in a good mood especially in rain and snow.

Thought this type of utter stupidity was limited to here in the UK
