I’ve been shouting this for years. What good is a palm tree? No shade, needs lots of water, and if a cat goes up, you need a 50 foot ladder to get them down. Scorpions love them, swimming pool hate them, and they’re expensive to trim every year. Give us Mesquites, PaloVerdes, and Aleppo Pines! 🌳
