Dwight Eisenhower was involved in multiple overthrows of foreign govts, including Iran (1953), Guatemala (1954). Also planted the seeds of the Vietnam war. During Peace talks after Vietnam won independence, the US refused to support elections for Vietnam b/c Ho Chi Minh would have won.

The GOP is practically dead. Although I think this has proven the GOP was never a good political party. They have always catered to the elites at the expense of the working class. They have never even cared if the working class can afford to see a doctor. They spend our money on wars.

Mark my words, when the Iran War runs up the national debt to 60 trillion, Republicans will blame seniors for it. Republicans will say Social Security checks and Medicare are bankrupting the nation. It’s not us. War at the cost of ONE BILLION PER DAY is bankrupting us.

And then Reagan in 1986 granted amnesty to all undocumented folks who were here prior to 1982.... estimated 3 million undocumented folks became citizens... Some say that opened the floodgates for undocumented folks to come to the US...

He was the last republican president to have a balanced budget. There was a corporate tax rate of 52%. Unlike the current rate of 21% and all the tax loopholes they have bought from congress, so now they pay around 13%
