Our Pollen browser extension is now live on Chrome and Firefox! It's an experimental tool for adding "claims" to images on Bluesky (commentary, provenance, facts) directly attached to the image content itself. nectar.hypha.coop

What does that mean? Each claim is linked to a perceptual fingerprint of the image. So even if it gets reposted, resized, or re-encoded, the claims travel with it.

Getting started is easy. Install the extension and a "Claim" button will appear in the top-right corner of images in your feed. Click, type your claim, and submit!

Anyone with the extension will see your claim whenever that image is shared. And because your claim lives as a signed record in your PDS, there's cryptographic proof you authored it.
