Tech SEO question. Which version should go in a canonical tag, and an xml sitemap: - www.example.com/fish-&-chips - www.example.com/fish-%26-chips - www.example.com/fish-&-c...

I *think* the last one. But I would probably want to check what GSC returns as the canonical when inspecting the live URL... Also, I don't envy you :)

According to the Sitemap specs, it needs to be utf-8, which means %26. But then for the canonical tag I think it depends if you want option 1 or 2 indexed. 😩🤔

Nightmare!! 😅

It’s killing me

I quite like Noah Learner's SEO slack for when I am very stuck... not sure if you are active there? "The SEO Community".
