Am I the only one having trouble finding a version of the 800th episode where this actually appears, as opposed to cutting right to a scene from the Christmas Special?

Yeah, no, this feels like a damn family guy cutaway. It's just uncomfy. It wouldve felt way more simpsons if homer just came in like this and sat down saying nothing

The Simpsons has been formative for so many. Absolutely incredible run that just keeps going. This current season has had some incredible episodes!

He sounds like Homer has always sounded - and, you know, he got hit by a massive car. Yeah, he would sound the same as regular healthy Homer (sarcasm). You are just copy/pasting some Instagram Simpsons hater's hot take for extra likes.
