This is devasting news. And I want every single story on car crashes to explain how we get to zero fatalities. Cars have existed for over 100 years; this is absurd that we can't make them safe. I don't mean a bit safer, a concept car that only exists in theory, but real and safe cars. RIP

There should be a double check system to confirm that you are correctly changing the lanes . Put a speed limit within the car based on the conditions of that area on that day and make sure somehow that you are not sleeping while driving

Yeah, and these technologies exist. Intelligent speed assistance that monitors speed limits, and speed limiters that stop the car going too fast. Cameras that can detect if you are shutting your eyes, etc. Plus, they can make the cars themselves physically stronger.
