Exactly. One of the biggest, annoying trends I've seen in the industry has been becoming reliant on "star power" faces. Video games used to be anyone fictional, but now, when I see someone in-game that I know from a show or movie, it ruins the experience in a way that never needed to happen.

You don't see the Elder Scrolls Remake changes faces to resemble Patrick Stewart of Sean Bean! It's just stupid to think of doing such a thing. Just the thought of seeing that, I know it would tarnish the experience on a deep level. Love the actors, but the immersion deserves priority.
