I am sending emails to both my senators every day. No one answers the phone and there is no way to leave a message

Just contacted mine asking to replace Schumer and remove him from leadership entirely. I also asked that they take Durbin, Masto and Schatz off the leadership team given their complicity. I'm torn about Schatz b/c he's shown some fire. But yesterday was just an awful display of acquiescence.

Emailed both my Maryland senators this morning with that message. I also emailed Sen. Schumer and told him it was time to step down.

But Chuck has a book tour so he's betting people will come buy his book now.

I think Schumer was right. Trump wanted the shutdown. What was the day-after plan? Headline reads “Dems abdicate Republic to Trump.” Trump takes complete power. People protest. He declares Martial Law, turns military on protesters. No more courts or elections. At least we're still in the fight.

Maybe so but I don’t want to fight democrats now. Trump is the problem. My time and energy is directed to ridding us of who I believe is an illegitimate president, not Schumer, wrong as I think he was.
