The protests here are not about the Palestinians, and it was clear that people in the crowd did not like what happened. I think our sole purpose with these protests has to be ousting the fascist regime. We need everyone we can get and cannot afford to lose people by offending them.

We went to a local protest in Flint, MI, today (April 19, 2025.) There were about 150-200 protestors and hundreds of cars honked and gave us thumbs up when they drove by.

The Maryland senator was smart and mentioned in the press conference that when talking to the embassy in El Salvador, they have received zero direction from the administration. That was deliberately stated as evidence they are not obeying the order to facilitate his release.
