At the start of Putin’s or Chávez’s rule, people protested peacefully, singling out specific "kitchen table" issues and without calling for the removal of the aspiring dictators, hoping they’d “get the message.” Fast forward to today: look at Russia, Belarus, and Venezuela.

“No Kings” has been done, with no impact on policy at all. It would be good if Dems in different regions could generate their own messages nationwide on the same day… ie no federal forces in our cities, no tariffs in trade etc.
