Problem is, the GOP still control Congress, and in the Senate, you need 2/3 to convict him. Even if successful, you've got JD Vance to deal with as he's next in line, and I don't think he's any better. And then Mike Johnson is in line after that.

I'd also support your local Indivisible groups to see if they'll be on board... but we also need to make sure that anger turns into action when it comes to organizing, donating, registering, voting - as well as running for office, filling the precinct chairs... those types of things.

I ran for mayor of my town in 2010. Won. Served one term, accomplished what I wanted (secured ownership of a new wastewater treatment plant built by a developer for 3.9M) and got out. Go for it. I'm too old now. 75. Exhausting, broke my health, lost my business, run out of town on a rail.

I would like to see protests that are even enticing for conservatives. Protests against AIPAC or reversal of citizens united. We have to get our goverment back from oligarchs to live in the society we dream of.

I wouldn't be surprised if more nationwide No Kings protests are planned for 2026... at least two, but I'd like to hope for up to four (one for each quarter including one in October before midterms) or more next year, including one should SCOTUS gut or curtail Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act.
