Republicans finally agreed to fund all of DHS (including TSA) with the exception of ICE… …until Trump had a tantrum on social media, deployed ICE to our airports, and demanded that the GOP passes his voter suppression legislation first. Trump and Republicans are responsible for the airport chaos.

Well, we can vote one of them out this November... James Talarico (D) is challenging Cornyn's Senate seat although Cornyn might lose in the runoff this May. Paxton is not better either. Just need to convince Texans that voting does matter, not just federally but up and down the ballot.

And we're also concerned that after hearing oral arguments today, the US Supreme Court may strike down Mississippi's mail-in ballot grace period law, which in turn could also impact other states that have similar grace periods (postmarked by Election Day but arrive after that day).

Republican Senator Kennedy spilled the beans on that plan. They were going to pass all but the bucks for ICE.. THEN, do a 'continuing resolution' with the funding for ICE that would require only 51 votes rather than 2/3 of the Senate. It's a trap.
