This 7/4: Protest like #NoKings, no celebrations, no fireworks! Gather in the streets instead of yard. Constitution violated. SCOTUS compromised. Elections compromised, reversed (Va). Freedoms lost! Rights erased. People kidnapped, abused. Benefits ended. Hit the streets & shout from monuments!

It depresses me to the edge of my sanity that despite the fact that the RepugniKKKan party is royally FUCKING us and driving us into Jim Crow 2.0 along with poverty, and bankrupting the country with their cash grap for the orange felon, it's the Democratic party that's on life support.

I am an Independent voter and always have been. Why can't a goal be to create something different than the Dem party? Why not create a truly inclusive political party? Why waste time trying to convince old-timer corporate Dems or even tried-and-true moderate Dems to evolve their party?

We don't have to wait till 2028. November 2026 will be the turning point. If you and everybody you know and everybody you don't know but is in your general area gets out and votes in November things will start to change.

Buttigieg says democrats have to change but he endorsed the police loving and rich loving radical centrist in the Seattle mayoral election rather than the progressive candidate. he’s not even from here.

We have a high bar to which we can now hold All Democrats to, and his name, of course, is Zohran Mamdani. He's accomplished more in 6 months than most in their entire (or even multiple) term. It's time to stop letting Corpo Dems lead by mediocre standards.

And overturn the "big beautiful bill" ASAP. By then a huge chunk of Americans are going to simply need food and water. They wrote it so it would hurt us after the midterms, and we need to be more loud about that now.

Pete Buttigieg has been pushing for reforms since he ran for DNC chair 10 yrs ago, he ran on structural democratic reforms in 2019, he was the only candidate for expanding the Supreme Court at that time, and only he & Warren were for eliminating the filibuster. 👇🏾

Note the documentary "The New Corporation", now streaming on Tubi. It goes into detail about the toxicity of today's corporate capitalism and then gives a history of the solution: mass actions not only in the street but now combined with the voting booth, like Hungary and No Kings. Hopeful.
