With rising hate crimes and violence in the wake of the GOP’s increasingly extreme opposition to trans people’s very existence, Democrats should be fighting to protect trans communities — not joining Republicans’ attacks.

Luckily, there's been a decrease in lgbtq hate crimes in 2024-25. Sexual orientation incidents: ~2,402 (2023) → 1,950 (2024). Gender identity: ~492–547 (2023) → 463 (2024). Total anti-LGBTQ single-bias incidents: ~2,569 → 2,413. Overall hate crimes also dipped slightly.

Hey @indivisible.org, I am running g to replace MGP in WA03. I need my interview for your endorsement! I have been endorsed by two locals already. It’s time to join me in this fight for good. bsky.app/profile/bhen...

I’m grateful for Rural Lewis County Indivisible’s support. I will continue to work hard to represent all of the people in our district. We can accomplish amazing things and move mountains as long as we all work and stand together in the fight.

Parents should be involved in all serious decisions regarding their child at school. Changing your name is a pretty serious decision. What I dont like is banning LGBTQ groups at school. Whats the harm in having clubs for kids who want to meet other kids that have the same interests?

So disappointing. Why does the federal government think they should regulate this, but not, for example, assault weapons, which are far more harmful to school kids than any discussion of trans sexuality?

Our Healthcare Systems, childhood education are sinking rapidly, and politicians care about gender identity? A demented demon is actively robbing our country and we all just stand by and watch. A healthcare crisis and epidemic are pending. Get your RX’s refilled today.

Democratic Reps. Henry Cuellar (Texas), Donald Davis (N.C.), Cleo Fields (La.), Laura Gillen (N.Y.), Vicente Gonzalez (Texas), Marcy Kaptur (Ohio), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Wash.) and Eugene Vindman (Va.) all voted for this bill.

That Vindman would vote for this is a huge disappointment. I mean- it really pisses me off that any democrats would vote for this. But Vindman is particularly disappointing. Cuellar should have been put on trial for his money laundering & bribery charges.
