I was in NYC on the subway. I had my "No Kings--Make a Plan to Vote" sign but I only saw 1 other person with a sign, presumably going to or coming from an event. I wish I'd seen hundreds. Many people think (I guess) that someone else will solve this problem. Still, thanks to all the organizers!

Maybe if we already had a DS government we’d have the safety nets in place to allow for daily protests, but #AnericanCapitalists knew what they were doing when they crushed our unions and blocked any social reforms including the bare minimum of #healthcare and a #livingwage. 1/2

People in Washington State, do NOT underestimate the power of your vote. We have a rare amount of State Supreme Court positions on the ballot this year, so vote with your brain and do it quick!

Awesome. Enough with the pats on the back and organize another day like this for November. Doing the bare minimum isn’t enough. We need pressure and focused efforts otherwise it’s cowardly, hypocritical, and dangerously performative.

Clearly the numbers weren't as high as past events, but I don't think it's because people don't care - I think they know they have to vote and there are too many competing priorities right now.

Both of my local indivisible groups in Ohio organized GOTV canvasses because they felt that was most important. I don't know how many participated because I choose to stand in the middle of the village I live in with 50 neighbors... the first nokings demonstration here 😎

Thenks—but when is the next event? Protests every few months are not enough. We need to keep momentum going until the regime is gone! In Georgia (the country), people have protested in massive numbers for over 680 days in Tbilisi through recurring weekly "Saturday marches" and rallies.

I had a family reunion Saturday, so I couldn't get to an action. But I did cast my early vote in person when City Hall opened. AND I decorated my lawn with signs to promote/remind all who passed on my busy street that they could vote every day through 10/30 to avoid lines on 11/3.
