🤣 oh boy, I missed the buzz you used to cause over there on twitter. What is the web losing? What is it competing against? About performance issue, where can I watch the presentation?

The #webperf community is an island of sanity, where evidence still beats bluster. It's down to us to reject the lemons the JS-industrial-complex keeps trying to pass off as gems.

Others (like @open-web-advocacy.org) are tackling the related challenges that have undermined browser choice and web capabilities, but even if those are solved, the web won't state a comeback while it feels like tapping through molasses for most.
