The people bitching about byte for byte ai assisted decomps are funny to me because as someone who worked on pokemerald- you have no idea how much work goes into that shit, and how much of it is just semantic analysis and shit that llms are good at. It's a genuine good fit, and legally green.

There is zero creativity that goes into disassembly. It's hard, grueling work, that requires years of effort. Acting like an equally clean room byte for byte replication is tainted somehow because the symbol names were thought up by a slop machine is stupid

Like, sure SomeClass::some_fucking_symbol is gonna be named by ai. But every single operation inside it, every single datastructure, every single thing worth giving a damn about, is gonna be identical
