when I am walking past all the parked cars that for some reason are closer to the airport than the train station, I do NOT want to be honked at because a golf cart carrying three people wants to drive at 20 mph down the path

The next port commissioners election I'm a single issue voter for removing the golf cart from the pedestrian path at seatac.

Accessibility is a good thing! Most people I see using it are elderly people. It's a miserable walk when it's windy / rainy, so always.

the golf carts are not particularly accessible. they have a high step you have to get over in order to get in. a wheelchair service would be just as effective and much less disruptive. plus they rarely save the carts for those who might need them. I hear them offering rides to just anyone

they could go slower (like walking speed). they could use pedicabs instead of golf carts. they could not honk horns. they could use an alternate route. but they do none of these things

a moving sidewalk running in a straight line to the center of the check in area would be ideal. i.e. ignore the parking ramp configuration and optimize for light rail passengers.
