Fireworks night, day after my birthday and travelling to London for a few days; what’s my first plan? A 35mm double bill of Salo and The Devils, I wonder how many are going to be doing the same fellow brave souls. :)

The Prince Charles Cinema also has Akira on 35mm in which despite seeing it twice during its re-release a few months ago, I might just go again because…it’s the tops man.

And the ICA has Raise The Red Lantern, which I’ve wanted to see for a very long time. Happy to be spoilt for choice while off from work gallivanting in the capital city.

There hasn’t even been a release of it here since a 1993 VHS, even more reason to make a trip.
