After a lot of work I finally have my shop back online. Already sold a few pieces. Big ups to everyone sharing and checking out my work. Not for nothing, I kind of had the yips about going live. It's hard to know if people will be interested. It's worse to know that they aren't.

It's real easy to fail when you're the only employee at a job best that really needs 3-5 people. And then the whole thing rides entirely on subjectivity. Even if I think a painting is the best one I've ever done, the audience (read: you) may have different ideas.

You might adore the one I'm least proud of. It's possible. Also pobody is nerfect. Maybe I dislike something because of a mistake or I've grown past it. But you won't notice or care. Believe it or not that's not an entirely uncommon situation with artists and their patrons.

So in the end, it's kind of weird to have the yips about any of this. Very little of it is actually within my power to control.

Still, I care enough and my brain pushes back so much that sometimes it's hard to finish projects like this. But I had a bigger motivation to getting everything back online. Ghost is getting older. And a recent emergency medical situation with him cost nearly $4,500 in total.

I really needed my shop back online. I was already in the middle of it. But the middle was photo editing and inventory management. And I still need to put more things online. Commissions are going to be available again. And I need to restore other basic parts of the site.
