We talk about how political polarization is a huge problem, but it seems like polarization is accelerating across all topics. Maybe “LLMs can be really useful but you have to be mindful of the risks and limitations” just doesn’t excite people enough.

There is also a really big problem with overblown and unrealistic expectations, thanks to breathless demos and media saturation. I think we are still on the downward slope of the trough of disillusionment for most of 2025.
