Before the tariffs, I could get a burrito for less than 10 bucks from my local Spanish food shop and grocery store. After the Cyclosploria outbreak, I can't even get a burrito for less than 15, and I'm rolling the dice on whether or not it's going to stay in my stomach or fly out the other end.
i find that burritos are cheaper in mexican communities, particularly ones with large immigrant populations. if you lower tariffs on the inputs — such as rice, tomatoes, and avocado — and allow mexican immigrants to own and run their own businesses here, seems like you can get pretty cheap burritos
