Read a review of Alley Cats in the Guardian and I have to say, I'm no critic or scholar but I think I see through all the swearing and 'shock and awe' and see the humanity and ethical quandary that is evident in most of Gervais' work. And I am really quite fond of it.

Yeah I think so. Undertones of the dynamics with which we interact with and tolerate others and selves. Was a while ago I watched it but felt like there were societal questions posed.
