If you want to know what parenting is like (for me at least) things got so tough yesterday that after failing to get my 2yr old to eat his pasta in a pub (meal with family), I had to walk out & have a cry in the car park. Sharing because no one talks about this stuff - especially not dads.

I hear this. My son has brought me to my knees on more than one occasion and complete breakdowns have come with it. It gets greater later lol.

Recent dad with a 6 month old. I have been on parental leave with her for 3 months. She will still cry her heart out if her mother is not around. Doing my best but still feeling defeated at times. ☺️

❤️ Parenting is bloody hard work (especially balancing it with all the other demands of the modern world) and I think only other parents can truly appreciate that. I often wish more of my friends and colleagues were parents so I wasn't so alone in this.
