Kato or Tomix? We would have children but that would leave less money for the model trains.

Normally my source is various brands of secondhand trains! I'm OO gauge but have some HO from my purchases in Munich when I travel for work!

Nice! We started collecting in Japan, so we went for N gauge because it’s ubiquitous there.

Oh cool! That has tempted me from the size and how much you can fit in. One day I'll try an N layout but I've just got so many OO locos now 😁
