So I may have made a mistake... Which is good for people who like human writing and art!!! It means you can still secure a magazine for the next 48 hours at the cheapest price we can do it!

Buying THIS magazine is supporting videogame journalists, writers, creatives, illustrators and developers. We've been doing everything to make sure people get paid appropriately. That was the ethos we wanted to bring and we couldn't have done it without YOU.

About 50% of our funding will end up being for creatives. That rules and honestly dwarfs rates that I've seen for major publishers, including the ABC. (shame!!) About 10% into design. Another 25% for printing and distribution. The other 15% goes into Issue 02.

We're not quite where we need to be to be sustainable - I still gotta hustle freelance and Mark still has a FT job - but we're building something. And I truly believe writing about videogames _matters_. That it's important. And I'm just so stoked so many people already feel that too.
