I still vividly remember somebody who had joined Firewalk, how they had uprooted their life and moved their family, their wife and children, across the country to come work for Sony. Their first day was the day Sony announced Concord was going offline. Don't do it, folks. It isn't worth the risk.

I remember that story too... I was so upset for that person that they had that happen to them after uprooting their entire life.

It was hard to watch. They weren't alone, either - someone on our publishing side had started, like, a week before and apparently had moved up from the SF Bay for the gig. The way which so many studios operate as though it's business as normal when they know the clock is ticking is abhorrent.
