wow this may be the grossest shit the Trump administration has pulled yet

www.wsj.com/opinion/vikt...

"The State Department official counted eight Security Council votes “comfortably” for Mr. Orbán"

"Russia and China are believed to be supportive, based on prior conversations with Washington ... As officials from the U.S. and a second country told us, when the U.S., Russia and China all want the same thing at the U.N. Security Council, they usually get it. "

"Mr. Orbán has the right ideology, knows how to exercise power in the face of hostility, and wouldn’t be intimidated by the Turtle Bay establishment." good to see the real voice of the WSJ editorial board complete with a reference to a Manhattan neighborhood

"the best to say about the Orbán idea is that it would lift the veil by giving the U.N. a leader as low as Turtle Bay has already sunk" the WSJ editorial board hates the UN -- not sure exactly why because they also say it's completely ineffectual

"this organization exists with goals contrary to mine but always fails" is not sane opinion writing though most of the problem is that the UN actually listens to complaints against Israel instead of ignoring them as is the WSJ way of dealing with complaints about Israel
