Hi! I wrote a book about being a First Assistant Editor. It's called "Every Frame Counts: An Assistant Editor's Reference Book" and it's being published by Routledge on April 2nd. Written BY an assistant FOR assistants. #PostChat #PostSky

I talk a lot about @avidmediacomposer.bsky.social but it's a mix of technical and holistic tips, tricks and notes. Not a definitive guide, more so insight into the mind and workflow of a First Assistant Editor in a scripted environment.

I hope it's a worthy contribution to the community @dr0id.bsky.social and @coreyfrost.bsky.social have fostered here on social media—I don't post much and I'm not great at marketing (I'm an Assistant Editor, after all, not some PR genius).
