I loathe sweeping insults about a team/coach/player just because you think you know better (I am not faultless but I at least try to be glib/silly about it) The proliferation of basketball-understanding tools available to fans has made most Too Online fans the most insufferable jerks on the planet

There are too many people who hold themselves out as Unpaid NBA Experts and with a haughty, elitist attitude vs. other fans (and the org itself) when it's just, like, a paid license to Cleaning the Glass I am an NBA sicko who understands the league a bit, but I try not to be an asshole about it?

It's part of the reason I'm Here and not Over There, where I feel like the fellow NBA sickos express a joy and whimsy about the league in between trying to understand and criticize decisions. A lot of life has become utterly joyless and I refuse to let my enjoyment of sports be a part of this
